Avoid scrubbing too hard, as harsh cleaning products can strip your skin of its natural oils. “Instead, try a two-step cleansing process. First, use an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup and dirt; then use a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser,” says the dermatologist. If you have dry or sensitive skin, using a creamy cleanser can help keep your skin smooth and hydrated. Also, please use lukewarm water rather than boiling water as hot water may cause damage.

2. Build antioxidant defenses in the morning

After cleaning your skin in the morning, protect it for the rest of the day. Cities have a lot of free radicals from car pollution and sunlight, which can have negative effects on your skin. “Adding an antioxidant-rich serum to your morning routine can be beneficial. Look for formulas that contain vitamin C, vitamin E, or niacinamide.
