According to hollywood reporterAmazon’s Nicole Clemens, currently vice president and head of international original production at Amazon MGM Studios, announced internally that Oliver Jones will be joining the company.
Jones is leaving his role as Apple TV’s senior creative executive for international scripted television, where he worked on projects such as Masters of the Air, Disclaimer, and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which is just a few episodes away from finishing its second season.

Over the past six years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of my talented colleagues at Apple TV and collaborating with some of the amazing artists I’ve been lucky enough to work with. (…) Leaving a job you love is always a difficult decision, but now is the perfect time to return home and start a new adventure. Amazon MGM Studios’ commitment and momentum to tell ambitious, provocative and premium stories, combined with our growing investment in the UK, means there could not be a more exciting moment to join Nicole and her incredible team.
Clemens said Jones will work at Amazon as senior commissioner for UK scripted content as part of Amazon’s efforts to “expand[its]reach for audiences in the UK and around the world.”
