Meta releases new Facebook Seller app for iPhone

Meta has released a new iPhone app called Seller, which is officially a Facebook app. The new Meta app is specifically for Facebook users who manage listings on Marketplace, the social network’s virtual storefront for physical goods.

The new Seller app is designed specifically for iPhone, but also works on iPad and Mac.

Here is the official description of the new app:

Seller is a selling app exclusively for Facebook Marketplace. Manage your listings, message buyers, and track performance all in one place.

See what needs your attention. The seller’s home dashboard shows a snapshot of your sales performance, along with what’s important first, including the products you ship, the buyers you match, and the lists you reprice.

Build your list quickly. When you upload a photo, Meta AI fills in details like title, description, price, category, etc. so you can publish it quickly.

Manage inventory at scale. Price changes, relistings, or bulk deletions. Create multiple lists at once.

Keep all your buyer messages in one place. Conversations with buyers take place here separately from personal chats. See who’s serious, reply faster, and never miss a message.

Track what’s working. See which listings are getting more views, more saves, and more messages. Get price recommendations and relisting suggestions based on what’s actually selling.

And here is a screenshot of the new list.

Seller is the second new iPhone app released by Meta this week. The company also released an AI-powered story-writing app for children called StoryKit, albeit in limited testing in some markets.

Facebook Marketplace’s new Seller app is widely available for free on the App Store. Meta also shared an announcement post about the new app today.
