Husqvarna is committed to smart lawn management with four new robotic mowers that use built-in AI vision technology to see, adapt, and mow.
Less than a year after launching the well-received Husqvarna Automower 405XE NERA, the company is back at it again with a new lineup of lawn mowers. 405VE, 410VE, 430V, 450V. These are the first Husqvarna robotic lawn mowers to be equipped with an AI vision system, ushering in a “new era” for the company.
These mowers are designed to see how they interact with the surrounding environment and can operate 24 hours a day, even in total darkness, thanks to an infrared camera. And when combined with Husqvarna’s EPOS satellite navigation system, the mower works seamlessly even in areas with weak GPS signals, ensuring perfectly even trimming across the lawn.
The 405VE and 410VE NERA are designed for smaller lawns up to 900sqm and 1,500sqm respectively, with edge cutting and AI obstacle avoidance for clean boundaries, and the ability to handle slopes of up to 30%.
If your garden is larger than that, the 430V and 450V NERA models are suitable. These cover 4,800 square meters and 7,500 square meters respectively and feature enhanced zone control, more sophisticated AI navigation and up to 50% more slope performance.
Each model has an adjustable cutting height ranging from 20 to 55 mm for the smaller version and 20 to 60 mm for the larger version.
Once released, it will be available for purchase from £2,299 to £4,799, but no release date has been set yet.
