Dell unveils large 52-inch 6K display with Thunderbolt

As part of this week’s CES 2026, Dell today announced “the world’s first 52-inch 6K monitor.”

The new Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub monitor features a 52-inch ultrawide curved display. This corresponds to a density of 129 pixels per inch.

Dell touts this in a press release:

The Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub monitor delivers superior visual clarity with 6K resolution at 129 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, and IPS Black technology for richer blacks and sharper visuals. It’s also designed with eye comfort in mind, reducing blue light emissions by up to 60% compared to competitors while maintaining professional-grade color accuracy. Additionally, the ambient light sensor helps keep your eyes comfortable during long hours of work.

As for connectivity, Dell says you can connect up to four PCs simultaneously. There’s one Thunderbolt 4 port with up to 140W of power delivery, two 27W USB-C ports, and one 10W USB-A port. That means you can connect your Mac to this display with a single Thunderbolt cable.

  • 1x Thunderbolt 4 upstream
  • 3x USB-C 10Gbps upstream (data only)
  • 4x USB 10Gbps ports

  • RJ45 Ethernet port, 2.5GbE

  • Eye comfort: TÜV Rheinland 5-star Eye Comfort certified, less than 20% blue emission, ambient light sensor, anti-glare low reflection (AGLR)
  • Multitasking: Picture-by-picture (PBP) with screen partition mode, built-in KVM for up to 4 PCs
  • Connectivity: Thunderbolt 4 with up to 140W EPR power delivery, pop-out 27W USB-C and 10W USB-A ports, RJ45 port for 2.5Gbps Ethernet

Who is this new display for? Dell says it’s “designed for financial traders, data scientists, engineers, and executives who need maximum screen real estate without a multi-monitor setup.”

The new Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub monitor is available to order today for $2,899 (with stand) or $2,700 (without stand).
