Today is the final race of the 2025 F1 Championship, and the last time ESPN will broadcast a race in the United States. Starting next year, Apple will take over streaming all races as part of the Apple TV subscription.
Apple today released a new social media ad for the deal, showing for the first time what the F1 channel will look like within the TV app.
As a reminder, Apple has announced a five-year partnership as F1’s exclusive broadcast partner in the United States, starting with the 2026 season.
The first race weekend begins March 6-8, but the service could launch on the TV app sooner, including some preseason content. With an Apple TV subscription, you can watch all F1 content at no additional cost.
Apple previously said the TV app will include streaming of all practice, qualifying, sprint and grand prix sessions during the season.

Newly released screenshots also show that the platform will include a streaming onboard driver cam that supports multi-view, showing multiple perspectives at once during a race. (Multi-view is supported on Apple TV set-top boxes, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro, provided the devices are compatible.)
The driver-mounted camera was one of the features that F1 fans in the US had to subscribe to F1.TV to access. Apple has hinted that further announcements regarding “product details” and “product enhancements” will be made in the coming months, so we can expect to see additional features added to the TV app over time.
However, if you’re a die-hard fan, you won’t be limited to the feature set that Apple makes available directly within the TV app itself. You can continue to access sports the same way F1.TV subscribers have always done by signing in to the F1.TV website or F1.TV app using your Apple TV account.
But rather than paying a dedicated subscription just for F1.TV, it’s now simply a “free” perk of your Apple TV subscription.
Apple TV currently costs $12.99 per month or $99 per year. You can also get discounted access to Apple TV, along with iCloud storage and other Apple content services, by subscribing to the Apple One bundle.
