Segway has announced a new series of robotic lawn mowers to add to its already extensive portfolio.
The X3 series will feature a range of new features including charging, better positioning and faster mowing, taking part in the H series released in 2022 and the I series released in 2024.
There are four models within the X3 series range, including the X315, X330, X350 and X390, and the range itself is designed to handle up to 10,000m2 of grass.
All four models feature dot matrix screens on top to display real-time updates, all come with three cameras and a time-of-flight sensor.
The three cameras and TOF sensors allow for 300-degree field of view and obstacle detection, and more than 200 obstacles, including 13 animals, are recognized.
All four models support ultra-fast charging, with a 30-minute charge that allows for 500 square meters of mowing and 5,000 square meters can be covered with a new battery in 24 hours.
It also comes with a new six-blade system to avoid the “slightly missed” issue, but despite the acceleration cutting speeds available on X3 series models, the anti-corging blade disc means grass will be caught.

The Navimow X3 Series also has an upgraded accurate fusion position system (EFL) called EFLS 3.0, featuring 3-frequency real-time kinematic (RTK) coverage.
All Navimow X3 series are all controlled via the Navimow app, which was recently updated to Navimow OS 3, adding many additional features to the current lawn mower on Segway as well as the X3 series.
The app’s OTA update included child locking features that can be activated through the app, voice feedback on lawn mower status, improved versions of Doodle features, and multi-device management for those with multiple Navimow lawn mowers. A lifted alarm feature has also been added along with Google Home support.
The Segway Navimow X3 Series is available through selected dealers and starts at £2,199 in the UK, while the X3 Series range model tops £4,299. We are waiting to hear about US pricing from Segway.
