EcoFlow is best known for its home energy and large power plant solutions. They have power plants that store enough energy to run an entire house for days or weeks at a time. But these days, they’re taking that same battery know-how and putting it into smaller, more consumer-friendly form factors. The company has expanded its lineup with the new Rapid Mag power bank product line. The star of the show is the new MagSafe power bank, which combines Qi2.2 wireless charging, a built-in USB-C cable, and an integrated kickstand in a slim 10,000mAh design. This is why I think it’s worth considering.
Let’s start with the specifications on paper. RAPID Mag batteries come with many features and specifications. Multi-functional, charges multiple devices and supports high-speed Qi2.2 standard. The specifications are as follows:

- 36W wired charging with built-in USB-C cable
- 10,000mAh battery capacity

According to the specifications list, EcoFlow states that the 10,000mAh battery can charge the iPhone 16 up to 1.9 times. Let’s see if it holds up during daily use.
my experience
The first thing that attracted me to this power bank was the design and feel. It’s slim, sleek, and has a soft rubber finish that gives it the feel of an Apple device. It feels very similar to the iPad Pro’s Magic Keyboard material. It also includes a small built-in display that shows charging information, and thanks to the design around the kickstand, it almost looks like a small window on your power bank. Honestly, it’s pretty cool.
But how well does it work? There are several ways to utilize this charger. The first method is to use it as a MagSafe battery pack. This was my primary use case for the iPhone 17 Pro. I was able to max out the 25W fast wireless charging from the battery and easily got more than 1.5 charges out of the battery. There’s also a small icon that appears if the device you’re charging supports Qi2.2 wireless charging. Neither the battery nor the phone overheated, and my iPhone 17 Pro charged quickly. If you need even faster charging for your iPhone or other devices, you can use the built-in cable that doubles as a lanyard. With a wired connection, charging speeds are up to 36W, fast enough to charge a MacBook Air. One small detail about the cable is that the connector is L-shaped, which is very convenient. The final charging method is using the USB-C port. If you have an additional cable, you can also connect it to provide 36W input and output.
The kickstand is also a practical point. It’s great for watching content, making FaceTime calls, and using your iPhone in standby mode, and it doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The kickstand sits above a small LCD and has everything you need. It shows the battery percentage, active charging mode, Qi2.2 status, and when the power bank is charging. Overall, this feels like a thoughtfully designed power bank with a focus on reduced friction, fewer cables, faster charging, and more flexibility in usage.
Price and availability
The EcoFlow RAPID Mag power bank is currently available on Amazon for $69. There are two colors: black and white. I had the black one, but as you can see in the pictures, the white one looks really stylish! If you want to save $5, we also have the original EcoFlow product. It has the same shape and size but only supports 15W wireless charging. But otherwise it’s exactly the same, retailing for $64 and still available in both colors.
