watchOS 27 adds two new apps to Apple Watch

watchOS 27 is the next major software update for the Apple Watch, and among its various new features, it brings two new apps to the Watch.

#1: Siri app

Siri is getting a major AI overhaul in watchOS 27, part of which is the new Siri app.

The Siri app will be available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple Watch.

You can still summon Siri via the Digital Crown in watchOS 27, but the app is a different place to start the conversation. Perhaps more importantly, the app allows you to browse through the past.

Siri AI can now have more conversations than ever before, and also keeps a record of your past queries across all your devices. So the Siri app in watchOS 27 will now show conversations not only from your Apple Watch, but also from your iPhone, Mac, and more.

#2: “Find apps”

In addition to new features in the Find My app in iOS 27, Apple has also reimagined the Find My experience on watchOS this year.

In watchOS 26, Find My is now split into three separate apps: Find Devices, Find Items, and Find People.

But with watchOS 27, Apple has streamlined all search functionality into a new unified Find My app.

Find My on Apple Watch offers all the functionality of the previous three apps, but with a condensed experience that makes it easy to find anything or anyone in a map-centric view.

You can use the menu in the top left corner to switch between what you’re looking for, but otherwise you’ll see a consistent interface.
