Apple’s Self-Service Repair Store has been updated today to offer several standalone repair parts for recently released products, including the easy-to-repair MacBook Neo. Here are the details:
Starting in 2022, Apple offers a self-service repair store that allows users in eligible locations to obtain parts and tools (choose to buy or rent) to repair supported devices themselves.
In addition, Apple also provides official repair manuals for some of its products, which provide detailed instructions on how to replace each repairable part or component.

Today, Apple updated its Self-Service Repair Store with new parts and tools for MacBook Neo and iPhone 17e, along with other recently released products including iPad Air (M4), MacBook Air (M5), MacBook Pro (M5 Pro and M5 Max), new Studio Display, and Studio Display XDR.
From the iPhone 17e’s back glass and bottom speaker to the Studio Display XDR’s housing, fan, and logic board, users can now get the parts and necessary tools to make their own repairs with the help of the company’s official repair manuals.

This is especially good news for MacBook Neo owners, given that Apple’s new entry-level laptop has been widely praised for its repairability.
