The 2026 F1 season begins this weekend with the Australian Grand Prix as the first race of the season. If you live in the United States, the sport now has a new broadcast hub. All races will be streamed live and on-demand with your Apple TV subscription.
Watch on the Apple TV app on iPhone, Android, Mac, Apple TV 4K set-top box, Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, Fire Stick, Roku and other platforms. You can also watch online at tv.apple.com.
This deal is only available in the US. All you need to watch is an Apple TV subscription for $12.99 per month or $99 per year. You can also get Apple TV as part of the Apple One bundle. However, for this to work, you must have a US regional Apple account and be physically located in the US.
If you don’t have a subscription yet, you can get a 7-day free trial here. And if you want to try it out, all practice sessions are streamed for free in front of a paywall.
The Apple TV app has a section dedicated to F1. During race weekends, this section will provide quick links to start watching the current live session in up to 4K HDR quality with a surround sound audio track. You can choose between F1.TV or the international Sky video feed, so you can listen to your favorite commentary team.
Onboard views of drivers and several alternative streams are also available as options. On Apple TV 4K, iPad, and Vision Pro, you can also use multi-view mode to watch multiple streams at the same time.
The schedule for the Australian Grand Prix in Eastern Time is as follows:
- Practice 1: Thursday 8:30pm ET
- Practice 2: Friday, 12:00 a.m. ET
- Practice 3: Friday, 8:30pm ET
- Qualifying: Saturday, 12 a.m. ET
- Race: Saturday 11pm ET
If you’re not watching live, you can always visit the Apple TV app to find replays of all completed sessions and watch them on demand.
If you’re used to using the F1.TV app or website, you can simply link your Apple and F1.TV accounts and continue using them.
If you can’t watch, you can listen to audio commentary from the Radio tab in Apple Music. Alternatively, you can track live timing for free through the Apple Sports app.
