There’s an official way to play Fortnite on your Mac using one of the three cloud gaming services. However, you can also visit GitHub and install the real native mobile Fortnite on your Apple Silicon Mac.
Epic Games introduces cloud gaming services.
Is Fortnite available on Mac? No, but you can play Fortnite on Mac via cloud gaming with Xbox Cloud Gaming, Nvidia GeForce NOW, or Amazon Luna.
However, if you have an Apple Silicon Mac, download the latest Fortnite IPA and apply the patch to get it working. Everything you need is linked to GitHub.
Welcome to FnMacAssistant! An easy-to-use assistant that helps you download the latest Fortnite IPA and apply the necessary patches to work properly (…)
Requirements:
- Installed as a sideload on your Mac
- Mac must be MacOS 15.1 or later
- A Mac equipped with an M series chip. (Fortnite Mobile does not work on Intel Macs)
Please note that the instructions must be followed very carefully. There’s a thread on Reddit where people run into difficulties and find out they’ve skipped one of the steps. GitHub instructions describe common errors you may encounter and steps to resolve them.
You must also log in with your Apple ID to be able to sign apps without a developer license. This is something that people have been doing for quite some time with Sideloadly, but you obviously need to make your own call for this.
If you need more help, we also have a Fortnite Mac Discord channel.
Apple Gaming Wiki Founder Andrew Tsai publishes YouTube videos in which he shows gameplay on a Mac, explains the shortcomings, and explains all the installation steps. You can see it below.
