Weave Robotics has started accepting pre-orders for Isaac 1, a home robot built to handle laundry and everyday tidying tasks through its own companion app.
The San Francisco-based company designed Isaac 1 with a full-stack approach, developing its own actuators, remote actuation systems, and safety systems rather than adapting existing robotic hardware.
Its in-house engineering extends to the robot’s physical design, with a robust internal structure providing shape and an interchangeable soft fabric shell providing passive safety and a look suited to a variety of homes.
Isaac 1’s collapsible torso extends to human height when working and folds out of sight when idle, but physical cues built into its design make it clear whether the robot is currently active or switched off.
The robot’s wheeled base remains passively stable while it completes its tasks, and with two arms each with six degrees of freedom and a two-axis neck and torso, it can extend up to 80 inches vertically and 38 inches horizontally.
Function and daily use
Isaac 1 handles two main functional areas. Laundry Flow covers finding, collecting, and folding dirty clothes and handling loaded baskets, while Daily Reset covers making your bed and putting toys, shoes, and clutter back in their places.
Weave Robotics runs Isaac 1 autonomously by default, but the robot can also rely on remote assistance to ensure task completion if needed.
Owners control Isaac 1 through a companion app on their smartphones and request tasks on-demand or at scheduled times, whether at home or on the go.
Weave Robotics is taking pre-orders for the Isaac 1, priced at $449 per month on a subscription plan, or $7,999 upfront, with a fully refundable deposit of $250.
Weave Robotics will begin deliveries to customers in California in fall 2026, with broader availability across the United States in 2027.
