The latest Roomba is smaller, stronger, and mops better

iRobot has expanded its Roomba portfolio for 2026, adding eight new models across three different tiers. This brings the combination of reduced chassis dimensions, higher suction power and a more advanced mopping system from £229 to £799 in the UK.

The entry point to the updated range is the £229 Roomba 115, a compact vacuum cleaner targeted at apartments and small homes where easy daily maintenance is a priority, delivering up to 15,000Pa of suction power through a low-profile chassis that can reach crevices as deep as 9cm under furniture.

This compact approach continues throughout the 2026 product range, with some models having an overall volume up to 25% smaller than the previous generation. iRobot customer research shows this decline is due to modern narrower floor plans and lower furniture being the main obstacles to effective self-cleaning.

roomba plus

The mid-range Roomba Plus tier includes five models: the 415, 515, 575, 615, and 675 Combo robots, all with suction ratings from 20,000 to 30,000 Pa, and combine vacuuming and mopping in a single pass to cover pet hair, trapped dirt, and dry spills across both hard floors and carpeted surfaces.

Navigation functionality is split within the Plus series, with the 415 and 515 using ClearView LiDAR for room mapping and edge-to-edge coverage. Meanwhile, the 575, 615, and 675 add AI visual recognition on top of ClearView Pro LiDAR to identify and avoid cables, shoes, and floor-level clutter without requiring manual intervention from the owner.

Mopping has been significantly refined on the Plus 615 and 675, combining roller mopping with a pressurized hot spray pre-treatment to loosen any dry residue before you start scrubbing. The heated pad reaches temperatures of 60 degrees Celsius, improving both cleaning performance and pad hygiene between cycles.

roomba max

The Roomba Max 715 and 775 sit at the top of the series, delivering 30,000 Pa of suction power alongside the roller mop and hot spray systems introduced lower down in the lineup. The 775 adds a vacuum and mop combo configuration, and both models feature upgraded filtration, odor-reducing bags, and sanitary garbage disposal features for heavier daily cleaning demands.

The AutoWash dock system is available in Plus and Max tiers and handles debris handling, hot water roller cleaning, and hot air drying of mopping components, eliminating the need for owners to manually clean the robot between sessions in homes where the device is frequently used.

The full 2026 Roomba range will start rolling out in the UK and EMEA from mid-2026, with the Roomba 115 priced at £229, Plus 415 Combo at £449, Plus 515 Combo at £549, Plus 575 Combo at £599, Plus 615 Combo at £599 and Plus 675 Combo at £2,026. Prices are £699, the Max 715 is £549 and the Max 775 Combo is £799, although iRobot notes that final timing and pricing may vary by market.
