Silo, one of Apple’s most popular sci-fi hits, will soon premiere its third season. And early reviews point to particularly strong returns.

Critics have particularly praised the new “Before Times” storyline, which plays out parallel to Juliet’s “present” storyline within the silo. It is based on the second volume of Hugh Howie’s trilogy, which is my personal favorite novel.

The dystopian sci-fi series has been renewed for a fourth season, and filming for next season has already been completed. So it could be a particularly short wait until the end of the series.
