Vitamin K: A Dose A Day is a 40-Day Devotional written in hopes to inspire, uplift, and empower every girl around the world. Young girls and women deal with daily struggles externally and internally; although those struggles are inevitable, starting your day off with sound encouragement can truly make a difference. According to the author, stories help put things into perspective for a clearer understanding. This is why each day’s lesson during this 40-day journey will begin or end with a story. Take the time to meditate on each day’s encouragement, and write positives notes to remind yourself of how wonderful you truly are. Be gentle with your growth, as you evolve from a caterpillar to the beautiful butterfly God already predestined you to be.

Kendra L. Conyers is an advocate for empowering young ladies and an inspirational trailblazer of our generation. She is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Kendra holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Human Services Counseling. She is the founder of Girls of Grace Foundation, Inc. which is a mentoring program for girls ages 13+ and an NC Real Estate Broker. Kendra found her passion for mentoring young girls after surviving her own troubled teen years. Through the tests and trials of life, she has been able to use everything she has been through as a blueprint to help others along the way.

After completing undergrad at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Kendra left her hometown and moved to Los Angeles, CA where she competed in MISS California 2013 pageant as well as appeared on many TV shows. Four years later, Kendra moved to Atlanta, GA where she worked as a liaison for the department of the mayor for four years. In June 2016, Kendra founded Girls of Grace Foundation, Inc. and taught weekly classes to teen girls on Fridays in Clayton County. Now, Kendra has returned back to the city where it all began; to truly make a difference in the lives of others.
