Nanoleaf’s latest smart light, the Pegboard Desk Dock, is just going live and offers an incredibly practical way to organize your space while adding something eye-opening to your desk setup.
I actually saw a desk dock prototype in January at CES 2025 along with a block light pegboard focused on existing walls.
Currently available for $59.99/£59.99, the new Pegboard Desk Dock brings out the dual obligations as both a charging hub and a customizable lighting display.
One side of the device is a full-face RGB light panel. If you turn it over 180 degrees, you will find a pegboard with four movable hooks. Designed to hang headphones, game controllers, or other desk gadgets.
Smart Light Front offers 64 RGB zones, 16 million colors, customizable lighting scenes, and dynamic effects that allow you to sync with music and mirror content on your screen in real time.
The base includes two USB-C ports, one USB-A and USB-C power distribution input, allowing you to directly connect up to 15W of charging and peripherals.
The whole thing connects to your computer via USB-C and immediately pairs with Nanoleaf’s desktop app on Windows or Mac.
From there, you can fine-tune everything from brightness to scene selection. Alternatively, simply use Nanoleaf Orchestrator to mirror the gameplay visuals or pulse them to your playlist.
However, there is no support for Google Assistant or Alexa, but it is only available in the Nanoleaf app.
It can be used directly from Nanoleaf.
