Major League Soccer (MLS) begins its new season this Saturday, and for the first time, all games will be available for free with an Apple TV subscription. Here are the details:

The MLS season begins this Saturday with all games streamed on Apple TV

Major League Soccer resumes this weekend. However, unlike previous years, which required a separate MLS Season Pass subscription, Apple TV subscribers will have all MLS matches this season included for free.

From Apple’s kickoff press release:

In a milestone year for the sport, including the FIFA World Cup in North America, Apple TV subscribers in more than 100 countries and territories can access every MLS match without interruption. You’ll also get in-depth coverage and analysis, exclusive content, and games outside of the regular season, including the annual League’s Cup Tournament, Michelob Ultra Campeones Cup, MLS All-Star Game, and Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.

All of this MLS content can be found directly in the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K, Vision Pro, Android, and smart TV platforms.

Subscriptions cost $12.99 per month and are also available in Apple One bundles.

Subscribers will also have access to all Apple Originals, including Severance, Ted Lasso, and Pluribus, as well as the upcoming F1 season in the US.

Apple’s TV app will be the home of MLS, but the company says it will also promote the sport through other apps.

  • Apple Music will feature “playlists carefully selected by clubs and players”
  • Apple Maps has “Matchday Guides Created by MLS Clubs and City Guides Created by Players”
  • Apple News gives you “access to scores, schedules, standings, and top stories”
  • Apple Podcasts has an “MLS hub with a curated collection of podcast episodes and collections covering MLS.”

The Apple Sports app is also recommended as the best way to track scores at the start of the season.
