Logitech today announced two new keyboard cases for iPad (A16) and iPad (10th generation): Rugged Combo 4c and Rugged Combo 4c Touch.
Logitech touts in a press release that these new cases offer “a fully enclosed keyboard and a versatile USB-C port that allows students to charge their iPad and use a wired headset at the same time.”
One thing Logitech specifically emphasizes is that both the Rugged Combo 4c and Rugged Combo 4c Touch feature dedicated USB-C ports for charging and wired headphones.
As audio becomes central to literacy, language learning and digital assessment, Rugged Combo 4c ensures technology seamlessly supports lessons. With the addition of a dedicated USB-C port, students can charge their iPads or use wired headphones, eliminating the need to choose between power and audio. This flexibility ensures a consistent lesson flow and allows students to engage deeply with digital content for extended periods of time in any classroom setting.
Logitech is highlighting several other features available with both new keyboard cases for iPad.
- Smart Connector: Instantly pairs with your iPad for seamless setup and is powered directly by your iPad, so you don’t need to charge your Rugged Combo 4c.
- Sealed spill-proof keyboard: Provides a comfortable and quiet typing experience while preventing spills in crowded classroom environments.
- EASY TO CLEAN: Designed with durable, easy-to-clean materials and tested to withstand over 3 years of daily cleaning in schools.
- Four usage modes: typing, viewing, reading, and sketching.
Finally, the Rugged Combo 4c Touch also features a “large, high-precision trackpad that allows students to seamlessly navigate and engage with content in a natural and intuitive way.”
The new Rugged Combo 4c and Rugged Combo 4c Touch can be ordered through authorized Logitech education resellers.
