Apple’s most affordable product is about to get even more exciting.

Apple has a lot of new products rumored to be coming soon, but the most affordable iPhone, iPad, and MacBook models are going to be even more exciting. Here’s what’s coming:

iPhone17e

Last February, Apple launched a new iPhone model, the iPhone 16e, targeted at budget-conscious buyers. Although the new model packs many of the more expensive iPhone 16’s core features, it does have some important drawbacks.

However, there are rumors that the next iPhone 17e will improve on some of the 16e’s biggest shortcomings.

iPad with A18

Apple’s entry-level iPad will also receive an update soon. Most updates to the base iPad aren’t particularly exciting, but this one is for one reason. It’s an A18 chip.

Having an A18 chip in the iPad doesn’t just mean it’s faster and has more RAM than the current A16 model. However, both upgrades are expected.

What makes the A18 particularly exciting is that it unlocks Apple Intelligence support on Apple’s most affordable iPad.

AI capabilities are nice to have right now, but they will become increasingly essential in the future.

New “MacBook”

Currently, the best-selling Mac is the most affordable laptop, the MacBook Air.

But the most affordable laptop will soon be an entirely new model: a “MacBook” without the suffix.

The new MacBook is expected to cost around $699, much cheaper than the current MacBook Air price of $999.

Apple is rumored to equip the MacBook with an iPhone-class A18 Pro chip and a 12.9-inch display, and to offer it in a variety of fun colors, including blue, pink, and yellow, as well as silver.

Essentially, Apple’s laptop product line is starting to resemble the iPad family. The base MacBook, the mid-tier MacBook Air, and the high-end MacBook Pro will appear.

The MacBook is also likely to be equipped with Apple’s N1 wireless chip and is expected to have 8GB of RAM. It’s not the best computer for advanced tasks, but basic computing can be a hit.
