Apple TV+ releases trailer for new sci-fi show from Breaking Bad creator

Apple TV+ has a packed fall lineup, and one of its most anticipated debuts is Pluribus, a mysterious new sci-fi drama series from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan. The first trailer for Pluribus arrived today, giving us a glimpse of what to expect.

New Pluribus trailer gives off Severance vibes ahead of Apple TV+ debut

If you’re a Severance fan, Pluribus could be your next must-see.

A new show from Vince Gilligan, creator of “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul.” Gilligan and the latter series’ star Rhea Seehorn are reunited.

Seehorn will play Carol, a character described as “the most miserable person on the planet who must save the world from happiness.”

many will premiere Friday, November 7th The first two episodes will be available on Apple TV+, with weekly releases thereafter until December 26th.

Apple has previously released some very short teasers as part of its unconventional marketing campaign, but this is the first proper look we’ve gotten at what to expect from Pluribus.

Apple describes the series as a sci-fi drama, but also an “original that transcends genre.”

This first trailer, coupled with some cryptic marketing, brings up a lot of echoes of Severance, Apple’s biggest hit series to date.
