Apple TV has released a trailer for Maximum Pleasure Academical, a new dark comedy with thriller elements set to be released next month.

Ted Lasso, the most popular comedy of all time, returns to Apple TV this summer. But until then, some exciting new comedies will premiere.
Next week, Margo’s Got Money Troubles arrives with critical acclaim and an all-star cast. Starring Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, and Nick Offerman.
And in May, Apple will release another original comedy with a dark, thriller twist, Maximus Pleasure Academica. The series co-stars Emmy Award-winner Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black, Monkey) and Jake Johnson (New Girl).
Premier that guarantees maximum pleasure Wednesday, May 20th The first two episodes are now available and will be released weekly thereafter until July 15th.

“Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” follows a recently divorced mother, Paula (Maslany), as she descends into a dangerous rabbit hole of extortion, murder, and youth soccer. Convinced that she witnessed a crime, Paula begins her own investigation while struggling with a custody battle and an identity crisis. It could hold the key to rebuilding his family and sense of self, while also unraveling a larger conspiracy.
The creator and showrunner of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is David J. Rosen (Sugar, Hunters). Season 2 of Sugar will be released this summer, with star Colin Farrell returning.
