The untitled Apple TV project will be executive produced by Dakota Fanning (All Her Faults) along with her sister Elle Fanning (Rainy Day in New York). The contents are as follows.
just the same deadline Apple reports that it acquired the rights to the new show “in a competitive context last year,” and Apple issued a press release outlining it as follows:
Fanning stars as a secret agent in the Treasury Department of a multibillion-dollar international conglomerate with political and criminal tentacles that change the world. She finds herself conflicted between her mission and the belief that her primary target, the heir apparent to all the corrupt powers that be, is a good man at heart and worthy of her love.
The company also announced that Dakota Fanning will star and executive produce alongside Elle Fanning, Brittany Kayhan Ward (The Great), Julie Gardner (Lady in the Lake), and Kari Skoglund (Smoke).
The untitled thriller is produced by Sony Pictures Television and distributed exclusively on Apple TV. The deal expands on Apple’s ongoing relationship with Sony Pictures Television, which also includes For All Mankind and upcoming spinoffs Star City, Blackbird, Afterparty, Platonic, Pluribus and Dark Matter.
As is often the case with recently greenlit projects, there’s no release timeline yet. However, the name of the show should be announced sooner rather than later.
Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month and includes popular TV shows and movies like Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking, Silo, and more.
