Apple releases black color version of Magic Keyboard for iPad Air

Amid all the new M5 chip goodness, Apple has quietly revamped its Magic Keyboard accessory for iPad Air with a new look.

Previously, Magic Keyboard for iPad Air was only available in white. Starting today, Apple will also offer a black color option.

This addition works more closely with Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro. However, it still lacks some of the Pro’s trademark features, such as key backlighting, and it still uses the same rubber/cloth material instead of the Pro keyboard’s aluminum case.

It’s very simple, just a new color added. However, iPad Air fans will appreciate the new darker shade option, as it has far fewer smudges and imperfections than the white model.

As before, Magic Keyboard for iPad Air is compatible with iPad Air (4th generation) and later. Prices are $269 for the 11-inch model and $369 for the 13-inch model.
