Anthropic lets Claude use your Mac

Anthropic is introducing the ability for Claude to take control of his Mac. This feature arrives today.

In a private YouTube video, Anthropic shows off Claude’s computer usage with Cowork and Code.

With Claude Cowork and Claude Code, you can now have Claude use your computer to handle tasks. You can point, click, and navigate just as you open and edit files and handle complex software tasks. Dispatch also allows you to give instructions to Claude from your phone.

The feature will be available on macOS as a research preview for Claude Pro and Claude Max subscribers, Engadget reports.

In other words, Anthropic itself is currently doing things with OpenClaw. The AI agent movement started with Claude before being acquired by OpenAI.

Perplexity Computer and Meta’s Manus are currently operating in space. Meanwhile, the Mac mini, which was the first to do all of this, consistently sells out.
