Amazon buys the world’s most eerie Apple Watch app and wearable, Bee

Amazon has confirmed that it is in the process of purchasing Bee, the Apple Watch app.

The platform describes itself as “personal AL that turns conversations, tasks, locations, and more into summaries, personal insights, and timely reminders.”

The company’s website has a banner saying, “Bee is participating in Amazon.” This links to a statement from founder Maria de Lourdes Zollo.

Bee is on Amazon, but couldn’t be more excited!

When we first started bees, we imagined a world where AI was truly personal and where your life was understood and enhanced by technology that will help you learn with you. What began as a dream of an incredible team and community is now finding a new home on Amazon. Ethan and I couldn’t think of a better partner to help bring truly personal agent AI to more customers.

Zollo’s statement sounds like the transaction is finished, but Amazon said TechCrunch This is not the case at all.

Amazon confirmed its acquisition of TechCrunch, but noted that the transaction has not yet ended.

However, the company sounded closures just like a form of it.

An Amazon spokesperson told TechCrunch that Bee employees have received an offer to join Amazon.

The acquisition has an obvious synergy from Amazon, expanding the range of echo home speakers to the outside world in virtually. However, it is unclear how the company will address privacy issues created by the device that records all the conversations users have with others. Bee has previously said it is working on the ability to restrict recordings to registered voices, but the option has not yet been mentioned in the company’s privacy policy.
