Today, Tim Cook has announced that the hearing aids and testing capabilities of the AirPods Pro 2, as well as the Apple Watch Sleep Apnea notifications are now available in select new countries and regions. See the complete list below.
Hearing aids and hearing tests

Both features were first introduced last year, but require approval from local health regulators before they can be deployed locally. Once enabled, AirPods Pro 2 users can take advantage of these two features.
- Hearing Test: Generate personalized hearing profiles based on results in a 5-minute test run using an iPhone or iPad running AirPods Pro 2 and iOS 18.1 or later.
- Hearing Aid Mode: iOS is designed to use its profile (which can be synced to other devices via iCloud) to turn earphones into clinical grade hearing aids, supporting users with mild to moderate hearing loss. Hearing adjustments apply to the entire system, including music, phones, etc., without the need for manual changes.
