Alongside Kane, wildlife technology specialist Declan Burley and ecosystem film director Vianet Zing dive into the extreme conservation world, heading from the Mongolian desert to Gabon’s rainforest.

A big technical swing that supports consciousness

Wild Ones uses over 350 custom built remote cameras, thermal drones, AI-powered imaging tools, and even wearable underwater tags to document elusive species such as Malayan Tiger, Gobi Bear, and North Atlantic Right Whale.

Among the highlights teased in today’s trailer are the first footage of the Malay Tiger from Malaysia’s Royal Tiger Reserve, the thermal night image of a wild Gobibear, and a face-to-face encounter with a silverback gorilla.

The Wild Ones will take part in Apple TV+’s growing natural programming. This includes the colour of the earth and the path of the earth.

As Apple explains, the new show is designed to highlight the threats facing endangered and rare species and their ecosystems.

“This series shows the threats these endangered species face and how each is closely linked to the ecosystem in which they live, bringing awareness and support to scientific efforts and long-term conservation efforts to help them save them.”

The Wild Ones will premiere worldwide on Friday, July 11th.

Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 a month, with TV shows and movies such as Ted Lasso, Severance, Studios, Morning Shows, Shrinks and Silos being hits.
