
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed premieres on Apple TV this week, and early reviews suggest Tatiana Maslany’s thriller-comedy could be another winner for the streaming service.

Apple TV has been on a roll lately with new series, and it looks like that trend will continue with the upcoming premiere.
Guaranteed maximum pleasure This Wednesday, May 20th The first two episodes are now available and will be released weekly thereafter until July 15th.
The dark comedy thriller follows a newly divorced mother, Paula (Tatiana Maslany), as she descends into a dangerous rabbit hole of extortion, murder, and youth soccer.
Early reviews have been very positive, with much praise directed at the cast, especially Maslany. guardian described the series as “unbelievable but delightfully twisted, and Maslany is wonderfully watchable, as are her antagonists.”

Today we launched a new podcast called TV Is Good. The show features two prominent TV critics: Alan Sepinwall (former) rolling stonecurrently an indie What is Alan looking at?) and Kathryn VanArendonk (vulture).
In the first episode, Sepinwall and Van Aerendonck talked about “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” and similarly found the series to be a lot of fun.
Both praised Maslany’s performance and personality as very convincing, as well as the entire ensemble. The pacing was also spot on, with episodes being tight at 30-40 minutes, leaving me wanting more.
“Maximum Fun Guaranteed” is available on Apple TV starting Wednesday. You can watch it as early as Tuesday, May 19th at 9pm ET.
