Apple’s most powerful Mac Studio no longer includes a RAM upgrade option. This comes after Apple appears to have exhausted its stock of the two best possible memory options for this machine.
M3 Ultra Mac Studio is only available in 96GB RAM configuration
as Basic Apple Guy Points Out TodayApple has removed the option to purchase the M3 Ultra Mac Studio with 256GB RAM. It was already close to impossible to order.
Back in March, Apple removed the option to configure the M3 Ultra Mac Studio with 512GB of memory.
This gives the M3 Ultra Mac Studio a memory configuration of 96GB.
Get it while supplies last.
Apple last week said it expects supplies of both the Mac mini and Mac Studio to remain limited for several months. Last week, Apple also discontinued the base model of its storage Mac mini.
Apple’s M5 Max MacBook Pro, on the other hand, can have up to 128GB of memory.
