Apple is reportedly planning to launch the iPad 11 with iPads 18.3 in early 2025

Apple updated its entire iPad lineup this year, but no entry-level models have been updated since 2022. However, the company is ultimately working on an updated version of the entry-level iPad, and expects the iPad 11 to be released in early 2025.

The iPad 11 is expected to be released in the next few months

A well-recognized profile of X revealed on Monday that Apple is set to launch the iPad 11 around the same time as the iPad 18.3. According to sources, the device will start with the new software pre-installed.

The first beta of iPados 18.3 was released to developers last week, but it didn’t bring any important new features except to prepare support for vacuum cleaner robots in the home app. It’s very likely that Apple is working on adding support for the new iPad 11 for the iPad 18.3 under the hood.

Updates for iOS and iPads “.3” are usually released in late January. Previously Bloomberg’s Mark Garman has proposed that Apple plans to introduce the iPad 11 in spring 2025, starting in March. This gives you a more accurate time frame as to when you expect to see a new entry-level iPad launch.

The leaker also confirmed a report on the new iPad 11, which is equipped with Apple’s first wireless modem to handle Wi-Fi and 5G connections.

Interestingly, he also revealed that Apple was working on an iPad with the same A14 chip as the current iPad 10. cyberstorehut I’ve heard from independent sources too. The leaker says the iPad is just a prototype for testing new modems. The final product is expected to have a faster chip (the same A17 Pro as the iPad Mini) to work with Apple Intelligence.

Apple is currently selling the iPad 10 for $349. You can find it on Amazon for as low as $279, but I recommend waiting for your new iPad 11 at this point.

The company is also rumored to introduce a new iPhone SE and an updated iPad Air in the spring of 2025, so expect them all to be announced in special events and a series of videos.
