Xbox app lands on LG Smart TV

LG has officially launched the highly anticipated Xbox app on a variety of smart TVs. It provides users with direct access to Xbox Cloud Gaming Services on their TV screens without the need for a real console.

The rollouts of over 25 countries allow LG Smart TV owners to stream a vast library of Xbox titles, from independent releases to AAA Blockbusters, via the Xbox app for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers.

This means access to an extensive catalog of games from all major publishers, including Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard, Mojang, Xbox Game Studios, and more.

Of course, except for compatible LG TVs, all you need is a compatible Bluetooth controller.

The app is currently available on LG TVS and with future support from Stanbyme screens, we have selected a smart monitor that works on the Webos 24 platform or later iterations. That basically means choosing between OLED TVS for 2022, smart TV for 2023, and most mid-upper models for 2024 and 2025.
