GoveeLife focuses on one of the biggest complaints about home Nugget ice makers: noise.
Announced ahead of CES 2026, the Smart Nugget Ice Maker Pro promises fast, high-volume ice making without the rattling, abrasive soundtrack that usually comes with it.
Essentially, this is a full-fledged kitchen kit. This machine starts producing nugget ice in just 6 minutes and can produce up to 60 pounds per day thanks to its 96W compressor, DC motor, and upgraded cooling system.
It has a thick ice basket that can hold 3.5 pounds and keep ice frozen for hours, making it more than enough for daily use and hosting.

But what really sets it apart is AI NoiseGuard. Nugget ice makers are notorious for being noisy due to freezing inside the evaporator, but GoveeLife claims its AI model can detect these phenomena with over 90% accuracy and automatically trigger defrost. As a result, the operating noise level is as low as 40dB, roughly equivalent to a quiet library or a quiet conversation, which is unusual in this category.
Capacity is another highlight. The dual tank system combines a 2.2L built-in reservoir with a 4.9L removable tank and can hold up to 15.6 pounds of ice in a single run. That’s the equivalent of about 60 iced drinks, making it much more party-friendly than most countertop competitors.
The Pro model also focuses on smart features. A 4.45-inch LCD touchscreen and LED status bar handle on-device controls, and you can use the Govee Home app to schedule ice making, receive low water level alerts, and remotely trigger flushing. It also supports Google Home and Amazon Alexa, so it fits nicely into your existing smart home setup.
Maintenance also seems surprisingly easy. Dual self-cleaning modes cover both quick rinsing and deeper cleaning, reducing the hassle of regular maintenance.
The Smart Nugget Ice Maker Pro will be showcased at CES 2026 and will be available in the US starting January 15th through Amazon, Govee, Walmart, and Best Buy. Price is set at $499.99, and early buyers will receive a free GoveeLife air purifier and a small launch discount.
