Brisant has announced the Ultion Nuki 2025, its latest high-security smart lock that combines the company’s trusted mechanical engineering with modern smart home convenience. This time around, Matter support is included.
This is the latest evolution of Brisant’s long-running Ultion lineup, and one of the most streamlined and design-forward versions to date.
At the heart of the new model is Ultion’s 3 Star PLUS lock, a cylinder designed for serious protection. In addition to anti-picking, anti-bump, and anti-drill protection, it contains a molybdenum core that is 25% denser than steel and highly resistant to corrosion and extreme heat. Combined with a precision-cut key that is significantly thicker than typical designs, this lock meets police-recommended safety standards, is Master Locksmith Association approved and comes with Ultion’s £5,000 warranty.
Brizant has also been redesigned for 2025. External handles are available in seven color options and include a 20-year anti-corrosion warranty. Meanwhile, the internal handle is available in black, white, or polished chrome finish. The overall design is slim and modern, making it easier to match with a variety of door styles.
On the smart side, the Ultion Nuki 2025 has finally moved to built-in Wi-Fi, so there’s no need for a bridge or additional hardware. You can lock or unlock your door remotely using the Nuki app, or let the lock handle it automatically. Proximity-based auto-unlock feature opens the door when you approach and immediately re-secures the door. Convenient when your hands are full or when carrying pets, children, or shopping bags.
There are still multiple ways to unlock your phone, including traditional keys, Ultion fobs, wireless keypads, and smartphones. Inside the home, manual control is easy using the central button or twist dial. The updated motor is faster and quieter, and the rechargeable battery lasts up to 9 months before needing to be easily charged via USB-C.
Critical compatibility, especially for threads, is one of the biggest upgrades. This ensures smooth integration with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings, giving the Ultion Nuki 2025 a level of platform flexibility that older locks lacked.
Despite an overhaul of the engineering, installation is simple. This unit fits common handle sizes and can be set up in less than four minutes with no drilling or wiring required, making it an easy upgrade for homeowners and installers.
