Govee has confirmed that Outdoor Pathway Lights 2 Lite will launch in North America and Europe on March 3, 2026, bringing S-shaped color effects, material compatibility, and weatherproof design to gardens and walkways.
Pricing has not been announced, but this model is expected to be a more affordable alternative to the existing Outdoor Pathway Lights 2.
The new Outdoor Pathway Lights 2 Lite comes just a few months after the release of the original Outdoor Pathway Lights 2, which currently retails for approximately $19.99 in North America. Unlike previous models, the Lite version is designed to project a distinctive S-shaped lighting pattern with an inverted L-shaped design.
According to Govee, the product, sold in a four-pack with model number H3500, has an IP67 dust and water rating and can withstand year-round outdoor conditions.
The light supports Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi connectivity and can be controlled via the Govee Home app. Matter 1.3 compatibility means it can seamlessly integrate with major smart home ecosystems such as Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa.
Matter is increasingly emerging as a key standard for simplifying smart home setup, allowing devices from different brands to work together without worrying about compatibility issues.
Govee has built a reputation for colorful and customizable lighting, and the Lite version continues that trend with support for 16 million colors and multiple lighting effects.
The company is yet to confirm UK pricing, but the Lite designation suggests it will be cheaper than the standard Outdoor Pathway Lights 2, which are positioned as a mid-range option. The Amazon Canada listing hints at multi-pack availability, which could make it attractive for larger gardens and walkways.
The announcement also reflects Govee’s broader efforts in the outdoor smart lighting space, where it competes with brands such as Philips Hue and Twinkly. For example, Philips Hue outdoor products offer strong integration with smart ecosystems, but often come at a premium price.
