MLB: The Show officially brings the best baseball game to iPhone

Baseball fans, take note. MLB: The Show is officially coming to iPhone. The game has already soft-launched in one country and will be launched globally in the future.

If you want to play as your favorite MLB team on your console, MLB: The Show is the name of the game.

MLB: The Show is coming to iPhone for the first time as we approach the 20th anniversary of the game’s original release.

“We will be live streaming MLB The Show Mobile in the Philippines,” the game maker announced today. “Realistic baseball gameplay on iOS and Android. This is step one. We’re testing, learning, and building toward broader availability.”

The team calls it “a new standalone experience built from the ground up to deliver realistic baseball gameplay on mobile devices.” You can see a gameplay preview from the App Store listing, but it is currently only available for download in the Philippines.

The game maker says on its website that it has not decided when the title will expand to other regions or be officially released.

However, it is said that cross-platform support between the mobile and console versions is not expected. An iPad version is also not currently being developed.

The site states that MLB: The Show Mobile requires iOS 26, and while older iPhones running iOS 26 are compatible, the game features “enhanced graphics, increased frame rates, and higher resolution” on iPhone 16 and later.
