
Apple Pencil and iPad are both essential tools for illustrators, and will be on full display in Sydney, Australia later this month.
Apple and the Sydney Opera House have announced that “newly commissioned artwork, sparkling creativity“From March 25th to 27th, we will transform the Opera House’s East Bennelong Voyage into a canvas for creativity, community and Australian talent,” Apple said in a statement.
This project includes artwork created on an iPad using Procreate by 10 emerging Australian artists.
The projection will showcase original static and video artwork created in Procreate on the iPad by a diverse group of 10 emerging Australian artists. From March 9th to 15th, the public is also invited to create their own digital artwork on iPad during a free Today at Apple session and have the opportunity to submit their work for consideration in the final projection.
Apple will also host creative sessions at Apple Stores in Australia to encourage the creation of artwork using iPad.
Free Today at Apple sessions will be held at Apple Stores across Australia from March 9 to 15, inviting the public to create their own digital artwork on iPad and giving them the opportunity to submit their work for consideration in the final projection program. A selection of works, selected from both commissioned artists and the public, will be screened on the East Bennelong Sail at the Sydney Opera House at 8.30pm on 25 March and 8pm on 26 and 27 March.
