Anchor has officially introduced a modular whole-house backup power system that could bring Tesla plenty of money.
SOLIX E10 is built as a scalable energy platform that combines battery storage, solar connectivity, and optional generator support to provide flexible backup power for everything from essential circuits to full household loads.
Anker claims the SOLIX E10 is built around a hybrid design that combines battery storage, solar power, and optional generator support to provide “unlimited backup” power with flexible configuration options.
The base configuration of the SOLIX E10 includes one inverter paired with a modular 6kWh battery, and users can expand the system by adding optional components such as a power dock that enables automatic backup across up to 200 amps and 12 circuits.
Rather than relying on a single, fixed configuration, the E10 is designed to scale with a home’s needs, allowing homeowners to start with a small system and expand capacity over time.
The system supports rooftop solar and third-party solar installations, allowing households to charge their batteries during the day and reduce dependence on the power grid during extended power outages.
Anker positions the SOLIX E10 as a solution for both short-term and long-term power outages, with enough power to run heavy appliances when properly configured.
The modular design also allows the system to be combined with optional smart switching hardware to manually or automatically transition to backup power in the event of a grid outage.
Anker says the system is designed for residential installation and features a weatherproof enclosure suitable for installation in garages or outdoors, depending on local requirements.
SOLIX E10 is compatible with Anker’s extensive SOLIX ecosystem, allowing users to monitor power usage, battery health, and energy flow through a companion app.
According to Anker, the system is intended to compete with other whole-home battery solutions by offering more flexibility rather than a single all-in-one unit.
SOLIX E10 pricing starts at $4,299 for the basic configuration and increases depending on battery capacity and optional components.
Adding the Power Dock increases the system price to about $5,799, while a bundle that includes the Power Dock and Anker’s Smart Generator 5500 can reach up to $7,399.
Anker has confirmed that pre-orders will begin on January 12, 2026, with a full delivery and installation schedule to begin shortly thereafter.
