Chinese companies surpassed Irobot for the first time as sales in key regions such as Germany, France, Korea and the Nordic market were driven by strong sales. He also claims he is already leading the way in his hometown and in his United States.
Roborock has been my favorite here for a long time. Ambient And that approach – premium buyers with industry-leading models like the Q5 Pro, catering to budget buyers like the Q5 Pro and other the new Saros 10R have clearly been rewarded.
Irobot was still the market leader in the US, Canada and Japan, but in 2024 its freight fell by 6.7% and 6.7% worldwide, according to an IDC report. Market share also fell 2.6%, with overall share closing at 13.7%.
One of the original robot vacuum cleaner brands, iRobot has had turbulence for several years. The recent news wasn’t that good, as we saw the acquisition by Amazon Fall last year.
Earlier this month we removed the covers from our 2025 refreshed Roomvaline lineup, but the positivity from the news was quickly countered by reports that the brand could struggle to continue this year.
Roborock isn’t the only one who’s fighting against either. Many Chinese brands have made great strides in the world of robot cleaners.
According to the report, Ecovacs remains China’s top dog despite Roborock’s claims. Options include the Deebot N30 Omni and the X8 Pro Omni.
However, there are brands like Dreame, Mova, Narwal and Yeedi, and they all produce a number of models to saturate the ever-growing market.
Dream is probably a bundle of choice, and according to the report, it is riding the wave of momentum, with a 36.6% increase in shipments from the previous year.

In Las Vegas at CES 2025, the brand can remove the cover of the Awesome X50 Ultra Complete with its poor system, allowing the vacuum to climb to a threshold of up to 6cm.
Another interesting snippet from the IDC survey results is that the average selling price increases by 7.6% to $452. This suggests a shift towards high-end models.
