Eddy Cue and Ben Stiller interview each other about their retirement on the SXSW stage

Apple SVP Eddy Cue and director Ben Stiller went on stage at SXSW to discuss Apple’s hit sci-fi thriller Severance. Kew talks about examples of retirements becoming the core of Apple TV+ and how focusing on just a few shows can drive quality.

Unfortunately, the interview lacks a bit of revelation. Stiller and Kew recall how the show turned out and congratulate each other on their support.

Stiller says that despite Apple’s falling to corporate satire not far from its progress at Apple Park, Apple never gave him a note about “what we do.”

The tongue of the tongue asks Kyu at one point, what about Apple, “Are you guys black?” Cue says, “If you keep doing this the same way you’re doing, I think we’ll be fine.”

He is currently in the middle of his second season. The show has become an indisputable phenomenon on Apple TV+. Apple says it is now the most popular show to date. Episode 9 airs this Friday, with season finale episode 10 continuing after the following week.

Although it is still officially unconfirmed, the show is scheduled to be updated for the third season. The script writer’s room is already in progress.
