Apple still has more than a dozen products in development for 2026. Upcoming products include:

Apple just wrapped up a very exciting week of announcements, starting with the iPhone 17e and ending with the MacBook Neo. We got seven new products this week, and there are still quite a few new products in the works for the near future. Let’s dig into them.

Mac

For the most part, Apple has gotten things right when it comes to the Mac lineup. It was certainly a bit of a surprise last week when Apple announced both the Studio Display and Studio Display XDR, in addition to the M5 MacBook Air and M5 Pro/M5 Max MacBook Pro.

That being said, there is still more to come. Apple should release the M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio in the near future. Bloomberg’s Mark Garman reported in the February 22 issue of the Power On newsletter that a new Mac Studio is expected in the first half of 2026.

Further down the line, Apple should release refreshed Mac minis and iMacs powered by the M6 chip. And of course, we’re hoping to see a redesigned MacBook Pro with the M6 Pro and M6 Max around October.

iPad

This week, Apple announced a refreshed iPad Air powered by the M4 chip. However, there was another rumored announcement that did not come true. It’s a low-cost iPad.

Apple was rumored to update its low-cost iPad with the A18 chip this week, but that didn’t happen. It will probably arrive in the first half of this year, but details are unclear.

Although no iPad Pro refresh is planned for 2026, Apple is working on a new and improved iPad mini with OLED and A19 Pro, expected to be released in the fall.

house

Apple is developing three major home products: a refreshed Apple TV, a refreshed HomePod mini, and an all-new smart home display that many are calling the HomePad.

The updated version of Apple TV 4K should include the A17 Pro chip. This means it can support Apple Intelligence. Apple’s new in-house N1 networking chip is also expected to be included.

As for the HomePod mini, it will have a newer chipset (the current model includes an S5 chip) and possibly some new colors, including red. This is the first HomePod mini refresh in over five years.

The biggest announcement in the series will likely be a new smart home display. It incorporates an A18 chip and a 7-inch display, making it the ultimate smart home hub for HomeKit and Siri interaction.

It’s been on the back burner for a while while Apple considered AI-infused Siri, but it should debut this year – hopefully.

Released in September

Over the course of September, Apple will unveil its new flagship iPhone, Apple Watch, and possibly AirPods.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max should debut with new color options (possibly red), improved cameras, and slightly larger batteries. Apple also plans to unveil its first foldable iPhone.

As for the rest of the iPhone lineup, Apple may not introduce the base iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 until spring 2027 as part of its strategy to stagger iPhone release cycles.

Apple is also expected to announce the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4. We don’t know much yet, but expect new health sensors, Touch ID support, and improved battery life.

Finally, Apple may debut AirPods Pro 3 with a camera. These leverage Apple’s visual intelligence technology, and the idea is that you’ll be able to have conversations with Siri about your surroundings.
