Roborock’s Q110H is one of the smartest lawn mowers we’ve ever seen

Robot vacuums have spent years proving that automatic vacuums are suitable for indoors, and now Roborock is applying the same logic to the garden with the RockNeo Q110H.

This is a robotic lawnmower built around a navigation system that combines RTK positioning and visual mapping to maintain a route across difficult outdoor terrain.

This combination allows the mower to continue operating under dense tree cover, negotiate tight corners, and pass through gaps as narrow as 2.3 feet without losing positional accuracy, addressing one of the more persistent limitations of GPS-only robotic mowers in irregularly shaped yards.

Beyond navigation, the RockNeo Q110H uses a stereo vision system to detect and respond to obstacles such as toys, garden tools, outdoor furniture, people, and animals, allowing it to continue mowing where it left off, instead of stopping and waiting for manual intervention.

Roborock also rates the mower to be able to climb up to 45% slopes and clear obstacles up to 4 cm in height. Meanwhile, its IPX6 water-resistance rating and built-in rain detection feature allows it to autonomously return to its charging station if conditions worsen and resume once things improve.

An over-the-air update to be released post-launch will introduce AI-powered boundary mapping, allowing the mower to learn the edges of the grass and automatically optimize cutting patterns on the first few runs without having to manually set perimeters.

The app’s controls cover scheduling across multiple lawn zones, real-time progress monitoring, and a wildlife-friendly mode that pauses operations at specified times to avoid disturbing nocturnal animals, a feature that reflects the growing awareness of garden biodiversity among smart home buyers.

Two optional accessories further expand the mower’s functionality. PreciEdge module for trimming near fences and boundaries, and a 4G anti-theft module with real-time location tracking, remote alerts, PIN lock, and motion-triggered alarm. Both sold separately.

The RockNeo Q110H retails for $1,299 in the US and is available now on Amazon. Introductory promotional price of $1,169 through June 16th.
