Can your iPad run iPadOS 27? Check here…

If Apple really wants to offer new Siri and other Apple Intelligence features, you’ll likely want to upgrade to iPadOS 27 if your device supports it.

Apple aims to provide OS updates for each device for as long as possible, but given the demand for new features, only the latest models will support future updates…

Apple announced that the following iPad models are compatible with iPadOS 27.

  • iPad Pro 11 inch: 2nd generation or later (A12Z+)
  • iPad Pro 12.9 inch: 4th generation or later (A12Z+)
  • iPad Air: 4th generation or later
  • iPad: 9th generation or later
  • iPad mini: 6th generation or later

However, the most powerful Apple intelligence features are limited to iPads with at least 12GB RAM starting with the M4 chip.
