Apple announced that the following iPad models are compatible with iPadOS 27.
- iPad Pro 11 inch: 2nd generation or later (A12Z+)
- iPad Pro 12.9 inch: 4th generation or later (A12Z+)
- iPad Air: 4th generation or later
- iPad: 9th generation or later
- iPad mini: 6th generation or later
However, the most powerful Apple intelligence features are limited to iPads with at least 12GB RAM starting with the M4 chip.
