CardioBot integrates one of my favorite Apple Health metrics for deeper cardiac insights

Ever wanted to do more with the health data your Apple Watch collects? CardioBot has long been used as a great way to gain new insights into your heart health. The latest version integrates one of my favorite Apple Health metrics using the Apple Watch.

CardioBot update introduces Time in Daylight insights

A few years ago, Apple added the ability to the Apple Watch to detect and estimate daylight hours just by wearing it.

This has recently become one of my favorite Apple Health metrics to track. When I can spend more time outdoors, I usually have more energy and always feel better. Passively quantifying your daytime hours as a metric is a great way to reflect on this healthy habit.

Starting today, CardioBot now integrates Time in Daylight for key insights into heart health and recovery. Use your Apple Watch and Apple Health data to provide helpful guidance to help you reach your health goals.

The latest version of CardioBot has redesigned much of the experience, including the app’s useful coaching features.

Here are the release notes for today’s release:

  • The redesigned CardioBot organizes your health data into sections focused on activity, recovery, vitals, and heart rate, making it easier to understand your day at a glance.
  • This update also introduces insights into daylight hours, allowing you to see how exposure to natural light supports your energy, sleep, and recovery.
  • Coach has also been revamped to include a more polished presentation and helpful context where you need it.
  • A more thoughtful CardioBot experience is built to help you read and act on your daily health patterns.

CardioBot is available for free from the App Store. After the free trial period, you can unlock more features for $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
