In February, bloomberg We reported that Apple is testing a “Deep Red” color option for the iPhone 18 Pro. A new report in April revealed more details about Apple’s plans, including the exact Pantone shades for each of the four colors.
- Light blue (Pantone 2121)
- It is described as similar to the current Mist Blue color of the base iPhone 17.
- Dark Cherry (Pantone 6076)
- It is described as a “deep wine red” rather than a bright “fruit punch” style red.
- Silver (Pantone 427C)
- It is described as similar to the silver and white design of the iPhone 17 Pro.
- Dark gray (Pantone 426C)
Today’s dummy unit comes from a trusted source, Sonny Dickson. They gave us a first detailed look at the colors of the iPhone 18 Pro.

By the way, the iPhone 17 Pro comes in three colors: Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver.
It looks like Cosmic Orange won’t be making its way to the iPhone 18 Pro, despite speculation that this color may stick around because it’s so popular. A new color, black, replaces the current deep blue finish, with light blue joining the lineup as a fourth option.
While some may be disappointed to see Cosmic Orange seemingly disappearing, many will be happy to see Black return to the lineup this year.
As always, the dummy unit may not be completely faithful to the iPhone color design that Apple ultimately decides on. These are for case manufacturers who use them to develop and test cases and other accessories for new iPhone models.
What do you think about the iPhone 18 Pro color? Is Apple making the right choice by discontinuing the Cosmic Orange option? Let us know in the comments section.
