iPhone 17 family sets another major milestone
Apple is celebrating another huge sales quarter with all its products winning across the board.
But the iPhone is a big part of its success. We knew that the iPhone 17 family was selling very well, and now Apple has confirmed that it has reached a new milestone.
Apple CFO Kevan Parekh is quoted as saying: financial times:
The iPhone 17 family is now the most popular lineup in our history
No further details were shared. Does this mean it’s the best-selling of the entire iPhone lineup to date? Parekh is certainly right. Perhaps on the earnings call, Apple will confirm more details.
Parekh also said F.T. Apple believes it “gained market share during the quarter.” This means that the iPhone’s success overall exceeds the success of its Android competitors.
Much has been written about the huge success of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. But the impressive success of the entire lineup means the iPhone Air has to be a solid contributor, too.
Even if the Air falls short of some expectations, it’s clear that Apple has good reason to praise its entire current flagship lineup.
