Two new activity challenges will be added to Apple Watch later this month

Apple Watch is introducing two new challenges this month that encourage users to meet specific activity goals on Earth Day and International Dance Day. Here are the details:

Earth Day and International Dance Day bring new challenges for Apple Watch activities

Later this month, Apple Watch owners will have two opportunities to win special digital prizes, including new iMessage stickers.

First, Earth Day is offering an activity challenge next Wednesday, April 22nd. Here are the details:

On Earth Day, April 22nd, you can earn this award by recording a 30-minute workout in the Workout app or the Track Your Workout to Health app. Earth will think of your world.

And a week later, on Wednesday April 29th, International Dance Day will host its own activity challenge.

According to Apple’s official message:

Show off your dance moves for International Dance Day. Log a dance workout of at least 20 minutes on April 29th to win this prize. Track it using the Workout app or the Add Workout to Health app.

Apple regularly offers activity challenges like this related to specific holidays or other events. For example, earlier this year there was a “Ring in the New Year” challenge to encourage healthy habits for the start of 2026.
