This vintage ‘Apple Watch’ face needs to exist

Apple has designed all kinds of Apple Watch faces in the more than 10 years since the product’s launch. Still, there is one aspect Apple should build and release as soon as possible. please.

Of course, that face is from the “Apple” watch, which came out 20 years before the Apple Watch. An anonymous X account named System Preferences has designed its own version of what System Preferences should look like.

Thanks for the blue bezel work on the version above.

Designer Minu Vi previously shared his own take on the same watch face on Dribbble.

Apple does not support third-party watch faces, and the company absolutely does not support this type of IP repurposing. As such, Apple should seriously consider creating its own special edition Apple Watch face inspired by the Macintosh System 7.5 Anniversary Clock.

Incidentally, this analog clock was offered as a free add-on to a $134.99 copy of Macintosh System 7.5 in 1995. Customers could choose between a watch or a copy of Conflict Catcher 3, but as far as I know, they’ve never inspired an Apple Watch face.
