New ‘Drive to Survive’ season added to Apple TV, all episodes now available

Netflix’s hit documentary series Formula 1: Drive to Survive premiered its latest season today, and Apple TV subscribers in the U.S. now have access to the full season thanks to a deal announced yesterday.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 8 is now available for Apple TV subscribers

The five-year partnership begins and Apple TV is now the streaming home for all F1 races in the US. The first race will be held next weekend on March 7th.

Prior to the start of the season, Apple signed its own deal with Netflix.

As we reported yesterday, Apple plans to stream the latest season of Netflix’s hit series Drive to Survive, and in return, the next F1 race will be streamed on Netflix. In both cases, content is available on both Apple TV and Netflix at the same time.

Today, the new season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive is officially available to Apple TV subscribers.

You can stream the entire eight-episode season here via Apple’s TV app.

New episodes cover the 2025 F1 season and are the perfect way to catch up on the latest F1 happenings ahead of the first 2026 race next week.

If you watch Drive to Survive on Apple TV, you’ll notice that the series still has the standard Netflix intro at the beginning. There’s also a small, persistent Netflix logo in the top right corner.

It’s not every day that streaming services share content with each other, but given Apple’s focus on promoting the new F1 season, this deal makes a lot of sense.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month, but you can also get discounts through Apple One bundles.
