Ahead of streaming F1 on Apple TV, Apple has been working with various teams to promote new cars with a Shot on iPhone campaign. As pictured above, this includes a partnership with F1 newcomer Cadillac…
Apple uses its iconic Shot on iPhone format to feature a variety of shots taken with the iPhone 17 Pro from tests of Cadillac cars and drivers in their garages.
Partnerships extend beyond just one team. Apple teamed up with Red Bull to run a Shot on iPhone campaign to coincide with the car’s launch, as well as demo some of its new engine parts through an Apple Vision Pro stage experience.
Judging by the number of iPhone 17 Pros hanging in the paddock during testing this week, we’ll probably see more of them.
It is unclear whether these are separate promotional agreements that Apple has entered into with teams individually, or whether promotional commitments with teams were included as part of the overall Apple-F1 streaming agreement.
If you live in the US, remember that Apple TV is the exclusive broadcaster of F1. This means that starting with the first race weekend on March 7, all Grand Prix races, qualifying and practice sessions will be streamed through the Apple TV app for Apple TV subscribers.
Apple TV subscribers also get access to F1.TV, included as a free benefit, so loyal fans can continue to enjoy the same customized app experience they’ve always had. You can link your account now to watch the final round of testing sessions next week.
Here’s a closer look at how the Apple TV Formula 1 deal works.
